To prepare for tele-health appointments:
- You will need a laptop, tablet, or phone with an internet connection.
- Please allow yourself a space that is quiet and private. Be creative if necessary, this might mean "meeting" in your car, home, or other environment. Ear buds are recommended to help with sound and privacy issues. Please ask about other recommendations for privacy.
- Research supports online counseling, reporting that it has the same efficacy as in-person sessions for children and adults. Although at first, it might seem uncomfortable and awkward we will adapt and adjust together.
To prepare for in-clinic appointments:
- Masks are not required as the office space allows for social distancing. If wearing a mask would make you feel more comfortable and safe please state that during the intake process and we will accommodate.
- Clinic surfaces are sanitized in between each session.
- Please reschedule if you are not feeling well or have been in contact with someone who has been ill with Covid-19.
Be well + Stay safe.
